Greater Wellington Regional Council
An election will also be held for 1 Councillor for the Kapiti Constituency of the Greater Wellington Regional Council.

District Health Boards
There are two Health Boards covering the Kapiti Coast District. They are:
- MidCentral District Health Board – to the north
- Capital and Coast District Health Board – to the south
District Health Board members are elected by their Districts ‘as a whole’ (at large). Kapiti Coast District electors will be voting for 7 members for the appropriate DHB for the address that they are enrolled.
