Attendance at meetings

(1)   Cancellation - Meetings are sometimes cancelled for a variety of reasons. To confirm whether a meeting is on, please ring the Democratic Services Advisor on (04) 296 4700 or toll free on 0800 486 486.

(2)   Access to Chambers – The only access to Council Chambers is by stairs.  If you wish to attend a meeting and this will be problematic please alert the Democratic Services Advisor.

(3)   Public Speaking Time – if you wish to address the Council or its Committees during Public Speaking Time please book ahead with the Democratic Services Advisor, and you will be given an approximate timeslot. People who book ahead for Public Speaking will be given precedence over those who do not.
