The Kapiti Community Health Group Trust is based at the Kapiti Health Centre. It is a voluntary organisation committed to better health and wellbeing for everyone on the Kapiti Coast.
The Trust achieves this by:
- honouring the Treaty of Waitangi
- advocating for fair and equitable health and disability services
- working with others to improve health outcomes
- promoting provision and access to health services
- dissemination of health and disability information.

Kapiti Health Information Service Website
The Trust, along with the Otaki and Kapiti Primary Health Organisations, have established the web-based Kapiti Health Information Service. Its aim is to increase and improve access to primary health care services on the Kapiti Coast, and you can access it at: www.kapitihealth.org.nz
Kapiti District Health and Disability Report and Plan
The Kapiti Community Health Group Trust has public funding to promote the Healthlinks actions as identified in the Kapiti District Health and Disability Report and Plan.
This report was presented to the Minister of Health by the Management Committee of the Porirua Kapiti Healthlinks Project on behalf of the people of the Kapiti Coast.
It brings together plans and recommendations to improve health and disability outcomes for people living on the Kapiti Coast.
