During the 2007 Annual Plan process, amendments to the 2006 LTCCP were consulted on and ultimately approved.
On April 10, 2006 households throughout the Kapiti Coast District received a copy of Part One of the Draft Long Term Council Community Plan 2006 (LTCCP) - a plan for the Kapiti Coast District for the next 20 years. Further detail is contained in a Part Two document.
From April 10 until May 12 the Council consulted on the LTCCP.

After public submissions were received and considered by the Council , a final version was received and approved by the Council on JUne 20 2006.
