Having trouble loading the Libraries’ web site?

The Libraries’ web site will open in a new window. Settings in place on your computer may prevent this window from loading. Depending on which browser you use you may need to set your browser to ‘allow popups’ from the KCDC website. Below are instructions on how to change this setting for the two most common web browsers, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Please refer to your browser’s ‘Help’ section if you continue to experience difficulties with or wish to learn more about managing ‘Popups’.

Internet Explorer 7

•  Click on the message bar and select ‘Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site...’

Mozilla Firefox

• Click on ‘Options’ and select ‘Allow popups for www.kapiticoast.govt.nz'

Google Toolbar

Google Toolbar is a popular add-on available for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox which also has a built-in Popup blocker. To allow popups through Google Toolbar simply click on the blocked status, i.e. “15 Blocked”, which will change the status to “Popups okay”. If you have Google toolbar installed you may need to change your settings for both Google toolbar and your internet browser.
