The 2011/12 Annual Plan is based on Year 3 of Council's 2009 Long Term Community Plan (LTCCP).
The purpose of the Annual Plan is detailed in the Local Government Act 2002. In summary, the Annual Plan contains information on:
- budget and funding impacts of Council's activities
- variations from the 2009-19 Long Term Council Community Plan
- a statement of service provision across all activities carried out by Council
No significant changes can be made through the Annual Plan process, unless there is an amendment to the LTCCP. However, any amendment to the LTCCP and the Annual Plan can be consulted on and adopted concurrently.
Final approval of the Annual Plan for 2011/12 occurred at the Council meeting of 23 June 2011.
