District Plan Changes

The District Plan can have changes made to it in the form of Public or Private Plan Changes.   

Public Plan Changes in progress - in numerical order:

Public Plan Changes are Council initiated and have legal weight from the time of notification.

• Plan Change 72A - Wharemauku Precinct

* Operative Plan Changes but not yet incorporated in the current District Plan

Private Plan Changes in progress:

Private Plan Changes are initiated by private individuals (usually landowners and developers) and have legal weight when they are made operative.

There are no Private Plan Changes being processed at present.
