Charging Regime Advisory Group (CRAG)

The Council has made an in-principle decision to introduce water meters, subject to further information being received on a preferred water charging model.
The Council has appointed representatives of a range of interests to a 'Charging Regime Advisory Group' to review options and report back on a preferred approach in March 2012. Council will then consult further with the community before making its final decision in June 2012.
The Charging Regime Advisory Group (CRAG) would also undertake ongoing monitoring of any water charging.
CRAG will have the responsibility of developing a draft charging formula for water which can be applied to both residential and non-residential properties using the reticulated water supply.
As CRAG receives information this will be placed on the website for information to interested readers.
