Raumati Beach CBD upgrade

In 2006 the Raumati Beach community put forward their ideas on how Raumati Beach town centre should look.  Those ideas became part of the area's Community Outcome Statement.

With an anticipated budget of $2 million spread over two years, the town centre upgrade will now proceed.

As part of the town centre upgrade, a major $3 million upgrade of the existing stormwater system and undergrounding of power and telephone services will commence in May 2011.
