Raumati Beach town centre upgrade

With a budget of $2 million spread over two years, the Raumati Beach town centre upgrade can now proceed.

Formal design work has been undertaken since January this year and those plans are now ready to be presented to the Community.  Workshops are to be held at the Kāpiti Bowling Club on 11 and 14 May 2011.

Construction of a portion of the wider town centre development is planned to start by mid 2012, community feedback is being sought at the public workshops on which portions this should be.
