Congratulations to Gendy Stevenson. Ms Stevenson has won a mid winter stay for two in the warmest house in New Zealand: ‘Little Greenie’, an eco-lodge in Golden Bay.

This low energy, low maintenance, warm and affordable house offers a model for new homes in NZ. It has achieved 9 out of 10 in the national Home Energy Rating Scheme – the highest rating in the country.
The builder, Lawrence McIntyre, the Hikurangi Foundation and the Council are investigating building a Little Greenie in Ōtaki, so we are keen for some lucky locals to experience it first hand and come back and tell us all about it.
