Citizenship Ceremonies
New Zealand citizenship ceremonies are held four times a year.
The ceremonies are officiated by the Mayor and commence at 7.00pm with candidates and guests requested to be seated by 6.50pm - there is no admittance once the ceremony has started.
Citizenship ceremonies are open to recipients and invited guests only. A light supper follows the ceremony.
2013 Citizenship Ceremonies
Location: Council Chambers, ground floor of Ngarara Building, 175 Rimu Road, Paraparaumu.
- Wednesday, 20 February (held at Southwards Car Museum)
- Wednesday, 17 March
- Wednesday, 19 April
- Wednesday, 21 August
- November - the final ceremony for the year will be held at a local marae, the time and venue are yet to be confirmed.
