District Events Fund

The Kāpiti Coast District Council has an annual District Events Fund of $30,000 to support events held in Kāpiti Coast District.

Applications were invited from groups or organisations who are considering holding an event, including events around the Rugby World Cup. 

The primary purpose of the Fund is to support significant events which:

• bring money into the District
• generate reputation and profile outside the District
• attract visitors from outside the District
• contribute to greater or more effective use of facilities or venues

The Council recognises events can deliver social environmental and cultural as well as economic outcomes for the community.
