Waste Reduction Grants
Got a great idea for reducing waste on the Coast? Now’s your chance!
Waste Levy Fund for Community Projects
A total of $25,000 is available in 2011/2012 for projects which involve:
- Five or more households; and/or
- Businesses or organisations active around waste reduction.
Applications may be made for a maximum of $5,000 (excl. GST) for projects which will lead to long term waste reduction actions by participants.
Applications for this fund close at 5.00pm on Thursday 3 November 2011.
Waste Levy Fund for New Technologies and Seed Funding
A fund pool of $55,000 is open for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from businesses, organisations and individuals. The fund pool is divided into two categories:
- Category A is for new technologies and processes.
- Category B is for businesses using proven existing technologies and processes
Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for this fund are due by 5.00pm on 3 November 2011.
Projects will be selected from among the EOIs by 17 December 2010 and applicants invited to develop them into full applications. The closing date for full applications is 25 February 2011. Funding will be delivered to successful applicants on 20 April 2011.
