Kāpiti Coast District Council has a strong and growing reputation for leading the way in environmental sustainability. We are looking for a person with a passion for the environment, knowledge of native flora, and experience in environmental restoration. The role will also provide practical field assistance to community environmental restoration groups.
A significant portion of time will be spent working outdoors undertaking manual physical tasks such as lifting and digging, therefore there is a need for a high level of physical fitness. The role will also require driving and the operation of machinery therefore appropriate current and valid operator certification and a NZ Driver Licence is essential. Consideration may be given to applicants who are willing to undertake or have commenced gaining operating certification.
