Otaki Community Board By-Election

The preliminary by-election results, under STV, for the two vacancies on the Ōtaki Community Board held today are as follows:

Colin Pearce and Marilyn Stevens.

The successful candidates will be sworn in at the next regular meeting of the Ōtaki Community Board at 7pm on March 22, 2011.

Final results for the Ōtaki Community Board by-election

A total of 2482 votes were received which equates to 41.2% of the eligible voters in the Ōtaki Community Board area.

Preliminary Electoral Roll Available for Inspection

A copy of the Preliminary Residential and Ratepayer Electoral Roll to be used for the by-election will be available for inspection at the following locations, during normal office hours, from Thursday 25 November.

  1. Council Offices and Service Centres at Main Street, Otaki, Mahara Place, Waikanae or 175 Rimu Road, Paraparaumu,
  2. Paraparaumu Library, Paraparaumu

The final roll closed at 5pm, Thursday 23 December 2010.

Ratepayer Roll Registration

The application and objection period for the ratepayer elector roll has now closed.
