No8 Wire Week

Last year No8 Wire Week provided an opportunity for Kāpiti residents to get hands-on during the July school holidays with our series of FREE workshops for all ages. Participants learnt new skills for practical sustainability in everyday life, and enjoyed getting out and about in their local environment. Stay tuned for our programme - to be launched mid June.

Introducing the Repair Café!

This year our programme includes a Repair Café.  We are looking for skilled fixers and repair experts to help out!

Do you have skills to fix electrical items, clothing, bikes, toys, lawnmowers, or other things? Are you keen to share those skills and help Kāpiti folks fix their stuff? Kāpiti’s first pop-up Repair Café will be held from Wed 19 – Fri 21 July at the Kāpiti Community Centre and we’re looking for skilled repairers to lend a hand.

If you’re keen to be involved please get in touch, even if you can only help out for a few hours.
