Signs

Information on who provides signage for Kāpiti Coast.

Bus stop signs

(includes timetable poles and information)

If you see unclear or dirty bus stops/signs etc., please email directionz@directionz.co.nz  or

0800 846 964 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Damaged street signs

A sign or sign support (wooden, steel, or aluminium post) can be damaged for a variety of reasons such as accidents, graffiti, vandalism or wind damage.

Missing signs

Signs go missing for a number of reasons such as vandalism or accidents. Some important signs, such as “give way” and “stop” signs are kept in stock and will be replaced straight away. Other signs will require manufacturing so we will need to order these.

New signs

The yellow finger board signs denote sports clubs, churches etc., in the area. Some signs for public areas will be replaced by Council.  Others are privately owned and therefore the responsibility of the owner.

Neighbourhood watch signs 

These signs are provided by NZ Police. Please contact your local community constable.
