My sculptures try to evoke the sense of a landscape without literally representing one.
They are static while also being changeable. As is the case with landscapes, one’s viewpoint can dramatically change their aspect.
Kate has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture from Dunedin School of Art, and spent two years studying furniture making in Madrid. She has works in private collections in New Zealand, Australia and Spain. In 2015 she won the open award at the Mahara Gallery review.
