Otaraua Park

Kāpiti Coast District Council purchased the land for Otaraua Park in 2012 for sport and recreation. The Otaraua Park Management Plan was put in place in 2014. The park is currently home to football fields in winter, and has potential to provide for a wide range of recreational and sporting opportunities, as well as having areas for preservation, restoration and a network of recreational paths connecting surrounding communities.

We’ve been engaged with the community, iwi and stakeholders to hear how you want Otaraua Park used. All of that feedback has been used to create the Otaraua Park Draft Development Plan - a long term, staged development plan for the park.
