Full Time Permanent position
We are looking for a fantastic manager to lead our District Planning team on the Kapiti Coast and provide the team with vision and direction.
The Kapiti Coast District is poised for growth and the team has a key role in planning for the district’s future and how we manage this growth. With significant change in transport accessibility to Kapiti underway, this is an exciting time to be involved in shaping the RMA planning framework for Kapiti Coast.
This leadership role will be responsible for the full spectrum of resource management planning and policy functions, and would suit a superb individual who is experienced in RMA policy and district plan development.
You will need a relevant tertiary qualification with demonstrated leadership experience in resource management planning. A sound working knowledge of the Resource Management Act (RMA) is essential, along with excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills. The role requires someone who is a sharp-minded, logical thinker and who excels at stakeholder, iwi and community engagement.
