Tours of the Collection Store

Book a visit to Te Kohinga | Collection Store with Heritage Curator Vicki Robson, and see works from the Field Collection. The Field Collection is a collection of 44 works, including 24 paintings by Frances Hodgkins (1869–1947), considered New Zealand’s most significant expatriate artist. It is the largest collection of Hodgkins’ work outside Te Papa Tongarewa and city collections in Dunedin, Auckland and Christchurch. Tours can be booked between 11:00AM–3:00PM, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the Wellington Heritage Festival. Email [email protected] to book. Cost is $10 per person, payable on entry to the gallery. This event is part of the Wellington Heritage Festival.
