Sewing Machine
Book a sewing machine at Paraparaumu Library
Paraparaumu Library now has a computerised sewing machine that you can use for your projects!
Please note:
- You must be 16+ and confident using a sewing machine.
- You will need to bring your own fabric and other materials.
The library will supply the sewing machine and the following equipment:
- Scissors
- Tape Measure
- Seam Ripper
- Black thread
- White thread
- 3 Bobbins with black thread
- 3 Bobbins with white thread
- 2 Empty Bobbin
- Zigzag Foot
- Buttonhole Foot
- Overcasting Foot
- Monogramming Foot
- Blind Stitch Foot
- Button Fitting Foot
You may wish to get additional Brother 11.5mm bobbins from sewing supply stores.
You will be given a quick introduction to the machine the first time you use it, and operating guides will be available on the machine.
