We organise events and activities that have a Māori kaupapa. These events enable our customers to engage with Kāpiti Coast District Libraries through a range of activities including te reo Māori story times, cultural performances, workshops, demonstrations, and kaupapa Māori talks.
Special events include:
- Treaty of Waitangi celebrations with a special focus on Kāpiti
- Matariki - Māori New Year celebrations
- Te Wiki o te Reo Māori - Māori Language Week celebrations
