Library Card Design Competition

We want you to design our next fabulous library card

Calling all 5 – 15 year olds! How would you like your art or design to be carried around in thousands of purses and pockets? We are on the hunt for creative young artists to design our next library cards. Sounds like you? Here’s how you can enter… 

1. Create your design on an A4 landscape piece of paper and write your name, age and contact details on the back.
2. Hand your entry in to a librarian, or email to [email protected]
3. Entries close on the 31^st of January 2021.

The judges will pick two winners – one aged 5 – 8 years, and the second aged 9 – 15 years. The judges will be looking for creative use of colour, and a design that portrays your view of the Kāpiti Coast District and/or libraries.

 We will accept multiple entries, however please ensure the designs are originally yours.

 The winners will be contacted in early February. The judges' decisions are final. Library staff  reserve the right to adjust or crop the winning designs for the purpose of creating the library card.
