How to Shop Plastic Free:
12 July Paekākāriki
19 July Ōtaki
26 July Paraparaumu
Many of us feel uncomfortable with the plastic in our lives but don’t know how to avoid it. Come along for an information packed and practical presentation by Rachel Benefield on how to reduce your waste and avoid single use plastic products almost entirely.
Following the five Rs of zero waste, Rachel’s family have lived single use plastic free for the past couple of years and are healthier and wealthier as a result. That’s because plastic free food and product is often whole, has a cleaner carbon foot print, is often a healthier alternative and if you ditch packaging you save money.
