Otaraua Park
Otaraua Park is Kāpiti's park to watch. It’s currently home to football fields in winter but over the next 20 years will be developed to support a wide range of physical activities and sports, paths, trails and spaces for nature-based passive recreation.
Kāpiti Coast District Council purchased the land for Otaraua Park in 2012 to create a park that supports the district’s economic growth as well as its cultural and ecological identities. It will become a multi-purpose, sustainable and regionally significant sport and recreation park.
