Ames Street ReserveAbout this reserve Ames Street Reserve is a beautiful space to have a picnic, take a walk down the coast and enjoy the scenery that Kāpiti has to offer. The reserve is home to our precious Korarā- Little Penguin, the world's smallest penguin. The penguins live mostly at sea, on Kāpiti and Mana Islands and in Paekākāriki. They nest August–December and are most vulnerable during this period. Please keep your dogs on leads at all times in this reserve. Amenities
