You can arrange to pay your property's rates by direct debit from your bank account on either weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly instalments. If there are any changes to your rates amounts owing, they will be adjusted automatically after written notification - you do not have to visit the bank to make the change.
If you sell your property and purchase a new one, you must complete a new direct debit authority. This will not be automatically transferred to your new property. To arrange a new direct debit authority, either use the form below or contact the Rates team.
If you wish to cancel your direct debit authority please advise us in writing using the form below or by email [email protected].
Please do not cancel the authority at your bank. This will cancel all existing authorities or new authorities to Kāpiti Coast District Council.
