Special/final water meter readings
Special water meter reading is when a meter reading is requested out of the normal cycle – for example where a final meter reading is needed for the sale of a property. The charges for these are outlined at Water and wastewater charges.
A final reading is required when a property is sold. Property settlements require a final water invoice to be included. Your solicitor will arrange this with Council as part of the property settlement.
Final water meter readings are carried out once a week, on Thursdays.
