Kāpiti Community Sports Bank
The aim of the Kāpiti Community Sports Bank Project is to reduce and eliminate the cost of equipment for those who need it to increase sport participation and activity.
The initiative has been established by the Wellington City Mission, with all Councils in the Greater Wellington region participating.
Sports Bank location
The Kāpiti Community Sport Bank is being run by volunteers from the head office of Fun Zone. It will be open from 9 March 2020.

How to donate items
We will accept any good condition used or new sports gear for both children and adults - what equipment is only limited by your imagination.
Drop off locations
There are numerous drop off zones for your clean, good quality equipment.
What is donated into these collection bins will be regularly emptied and taken to the Kāpiti Community Sports Bank which is located at Fun Zone head office, 19e Milne Drive, Paraparaumu.

Anyone who has equipment they wish to donate can do so on opening day on 7 March, at the drop-off locations listed above or by ringing our School Sports Coordinator on 04 2965 504.
How to pick up sports equipment from the Sports Bank
All types of sports gear, from swimming goggles to cricket bats, football boots to clothing, will be available in the sports bank to those who need it. Schools, clubs, coaches and other agencies will identify children and adults who would benefit, and they will be able to access the sports bank for the gear they need using a Sports Bank card.
