Road Stopping on land adjacent to Marine Parade, Ōtaki
Kāpiti Coast District Council is proposing to complete a Road Stopping on an area of land approximately 7.4998 hectares on the seaward side of Marine Parade, Ōtaki Beach. This means the land in this area can legally continue to be used as a park.

Any person or organisation wishing to make a submission or object to the proposed reserve reclassification or revocation may do so in writing no later than 4pm Friday 8 June 2018.

If we do not receive any objections or submissions by the due date, the Council will by resolution complete the Road Stopping process.
If the Road Stopping is successful, Council will then commence with a reclassification of the area as a Reserve and a community driven process to establish a Reserve Management and Development Plan could be initiated at a later date.
