Welcome to the most exciting XTERRA on the planet.
XTERRA Wellington embraces the rugged coastal landscape that is Kāpiti, in the heart of Wellington, New Zealand. No glitz nor glamour, just epic New Zealand terrain, spectacular views and proper homegrown hospitality. XTERRA Wellington links the beach to the mountains in a uniquely west coast way. Set 30 minutes drive from Wellington CBD, on a good day this course is harmless and fragile ready to be taken apart... however, underestimate her at your peril.
A rugged west coast beach, mountain bike ride with 800 meters of climbing, a great mix of gravel, single track, and a course that will thrill you just as much as make those legs burn. All this complimented with a group of runs that will inspire but with the wrong wind could very well break you.
Something for everyone, from our Super 6km Fun Run, Whareroa Half Marathon, to our full XTERRA Coastal Triathlon. All of this followed by a celebration that includes live music, drink, food and stories into the night.
