Free, family friendly event, held on the beautiful Ōtaki Beach. Plan a trip to the Kāpiti Coast and see the spectacular kites at New Zealand's largest kite festival. See world class kites of all shapes and sizes. Relax in the sun and enjoy the live entertainment or purchase a treasure from one of our stalls. Stay for lunch and sample the tasty treats from one of our food vendors or bring a picnic and watch the world go by. For the kids, there are slides, bouncy castles and our fabulous kite train. The Ōtaki Kite Festival has something for everyone, join us to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. See you at the beach!!!
