Artistic mediums: Ceramics/pottery, mosaics, steel, wood, glass, slate
Paula is an artist in residence at the Big Mac Slabs Creative Centre and has spent most of her life on the Kāpiti Coast. She is an outdoors girl to the core and draws her inspiration from nature which is reflected in her unique range of garden art, pottery and mosaics. She loves the seashore and you will see the influence this has in some of her works. Whilst clay is her main medium, she also uses, glass, steel, slate, and wood in her creations.
She also appreciates nature and streetscapes in photography and has a collection of photographic prints on canvas on display at the Creative Centre. She is well known for her pottery bowls and wall art with glass effects which have to be seen in the flesh to appreciate as it looks like you are staring into a natural pool of water. Come and meet her and view her extensive range at the Big Mac Slabs Creative Centre.
