Artistic medium: Ceramics and pottery
Drawing inspiration from New Zealand’s landscape, her beautiful garden, and from the history of pottery making, Jennifer creates unique ceramics both decorative and for everyday use in the home.
Gaining her diploma in Fine Arts from Dunedin School of Art in 1990, Jennifer has a long experience as a ceramic artist and teacher. Resident in Ōtaki since 2003, she works from her studio behind the old Ōtaki Constable’s house, now in a beautiful garden setting. She also tutors for the Otago School of Fine Arts, as a distance tutor/supervisor for the Diploma of Arts and Design (Ceramics).
Along with producing her work at her studio, Jennifer runs ceramic mentoring classes, workshops, and small classes at Jailhouse Studio.
