Artistic medium: Painting, collage
Returning recently to Kāpiti after some years away, Pam creates vivid paintings and portraits of landscape icons in paint and collage. Her images range from highly detailed hyper-realistic depictions of New Zealand landscapes and birds to a semi-abstract approach.
Previously working in fibre arts, Pam has been painting and exhibiting for 12 years in Northland, Coromandel, Mana, and Kāpiti, exhibiting in galleries and art shows in Northland, Porirua, and the Coromandel. She was a finalist in the Northland Art Awards and has gained several awards for her art, including second place in the Telecom Art Awards.
Pam’s artwork is inspired by the beautiful places she has lived in and visited, from memories and from her imagination.
