Summerstone Gallery
Kāpiti Arts Trail: Listing 39
Artistic medium: Sculpture Ceramics/pottery
In an exciting development for Summerstone Ceramics and for Kāpiti, Ōtaki ceramic artists Mike and Judy Page have set up their new Summerstone Gallery on the corner of Kāpiti & Te Roto Roads in Paraparaumu.
Mike, an award-winning potter, and Judy are well-known in Kāpiti for their brightly coloured ceramics, designed for use in the home and garden or to decorate indoor or outdoor walls or other settings. They had a hugely successful exhibition at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wellington in June 2021, and have been Arts Trail participants over a number of years. At their new gallery, they will exhibit unique, individually hand-made sculptures, ceramics, and pottery creations in a fabulous atmosphere.
