Enrolling to vote
How to enrol
Are you passionate about your community and want to have a say in the way it moves ahead? Make sure you're enrolled to vote in this year's elections by 16 August to have your voting papers sent out for the 2019 local elections.
You need to be enrolled to vote
Residents: Anyone who is on the electoral roll can vote in the local elections. If you have moved house, you will need to update your details with the Electoral Commission so your voting papers are sent to the right address.
Enrol, check, and update your details with the Electoral Commission here.
You can find out more about enrolling to vote here.
Non-resident Ratepayers: If you or your business pay rates in an area that is different from where you live, you may be eligible to enrol on the non-resident ratepayer roll in addition to your residential entitlements.
