About the role
Take on a key role at Kāpiti Coast District Council supporting the Mayor and others as we embark on our growth journey.

You display sound judgment, political awareness and agility, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment.
The Executive Secretary to the Mayor is responsible for providing a professional and efficient secretarial service to the Mayor to support an effective governance function and facilitate public participation in the democratic process. Kāpiti Coast District Council provides a wide range of services in the district and this position plays a critical role in supporting the local democratic process.
This role will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive to ensure consistent administrative support is available at all times for both the Mayor and Chief Executive.
