Human Resources Administrator – Ref: 302
Part Time – Fixed Term (2 years)
About the role
Kapiti Coast District Council delivers services across a wide range of activities. We have an opportunity for a part time (20 hours per week) HR Administrator to join our small and busy team. The role will be required to work Monday – Friday inclusive and a key focus for the role will be managing the HR Mailbox and online recruitment applications.
The role is for a fixed term period of two years to provide additional administrative support for the human resources service delivery functions.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who demonstrates a customer service focus; has excellent interpersonal skills and is an effective communicator; good judgement and discretion; and demonstrates effective administration skills including a high level of competency across Microsoft Office applications with the ability to collate data and create reports. Due to the nature of the Council’s business, a current and valid NZ Driver Licence will be required to enable you to get to our different work sites as required.
This role will work collaboratively across the organizational development team as well as interact regularly with staff across the wider organization. Experience working in an HR team environment would be advantageous.
