In this role you will be responsible for the effective supervision of our pool users and cleaning and maintenance of the pool facilities. When joining us at the Aquatic Centre, you will be bringing a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and a friendly and outgoing personality with a high level of presentation and cleanliness. Full Lifeguard training will be provided to the successful applicant. As part of your Lifeguard qualification, you will be required to demonstrate a reasonable level of fitness and swimming ability.

This role is based at Coastland Aquatic Centre with opportunities to work at Otaki Pool, and Waikanae Pool in the summer.
The position is full time, and we are open 7 days a week, 364 days a year, so you must be flexible as rostered weekend work will be part of the role.
