Payroll Officer – Fixed Term 6 months Full Time or Part Time
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Payroll individual, ideally with CHRIS21 experience, who can provide us with some additional resources during a time of internal staffing movements. The role may be filled in a full time capacity or part time capacity. As a member of the Organisational Development team, you will not only undertake the usual payroll tasks but you will assist the wider Council by providing awesome customer and payroll service.
In this role we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. We are a small team who are used to rolling our sleeves up to get the job done so we are looking for a team player with good decision making skills, someone who will be calm under pressure and absolutely have a great sense of humour.
Due to the short period for this position, experience with CHRIS21 is preferred however experience with other payroll systems would also be desirable. A strong customer focus is essential, combined with 2+yrs delivering end to end Payroll services and the ability to offer effective, timely and accurate resolutions of payroll related queries
