Kapiti Older Persons' Council Meetings
The Kāpiti Coast Older Persons’ Council (OPC) is an advisory group of individuals who bring a community perspective to policy and strategies within Council and beyond. In addition to an advisory role the Older Persons’ Council is tasked with coordinating either a community forum or an expo annually.
The OPC has special privileges within Council to ensure an older persons’ perspective is available at every opportunity. The Older Persons’ Council played a key role in developing the District’s Positive Ageing Strategy.
The group meets on the last Wednesday of every month.
