Council arts events coordinator Nerita Clark says the Creative Communities Scheme has supported many wonderful local arts projects over the years.

“There are so many talented people in our community who bring a lot of vibrancy to the Kāpiti Coast,” Ms Clark says.

“The scheme is a great way of supporting their creative mahi and helping share it with the people.

“For the Creative Communities Scheme we’d like to hear from people and groups with projects that will help people participate in the arts, highlight the diversity in our communities or attract our younger audiences.

“For the festival fund we’re looking for people with some recent experience in delivering festivals and have a project that will celebrate the lives, cultures and stories of our place.”

Applications close 5pm, Tuesday March 19.
