Campbell Park
Located just across the road from Paekākāriki Beach, Campbell Park offers football spectators and players a unique experience. You can hear the sea pounding on the shore nearby and the terraced seating on the eastern hill provides pleasant views over the grounds and out to Kāpiti Island. Pohutukawa trees provide great shade around the park perimeter.
Above the playing field, there's a playground where children can play safely – the best way to get here is via The Parade. The park stretches up the hill to Wellington Road, so there's plenty of open grassy space for picnics and a leisurely stroll. The Paekākāriki Memorial Hall - right next door on The Parade - is a popular venue for local functions and serves as a focal point for the community.
