No8 wire is an annual programme of free and affordable events to encourage community resilience, DIY resourcefulness and environmental responsibility through fun, hands-on events and workshops.
It is a great way to meet new people, discover new places and learn practical ways to reduce environmental impacts.
The 2020 programme hosted a wide range of activities including how to shop plastic free, free classes on how to cook with less meat, reducing your waste through Parakore strategies, regenerative agriculture, tiny home tours, and much more.
In 2021, the No8Wire programme is trialling a new format. We will be working with event organisers to host workshops on a quarterly schedule throughout the year, rather than just in July.
