Lease on reserve – Whiti Te Ra Rugby League Club
We administer a number of lease agreements on reserve land and in some cases we're required to publicly notify the lease proposals. The purpose of this page is to notify our intent to enter into the following lease. You can provide a submission on the proposed lease, see the information at the bottom of the page on how to do this.
This consultation closed on Friday 19 July 2019.
Whiti Te Ra Ki Ōtaki (Whiti Te Ra Rugby League Club)
The proposed lease is for use of part of the land situated at Ōtaki Domain, Domain Road, Otaki, being Haruātai 14C 14D Block, and is for a ten year term with two ten year rights of renewal. The Club is a not-for-profit organisation that intends to use the land for activities primarily associated with rugby league. The Club has occupied the site for a number of years and owns the upper part of the building on the site.
The land is Recreation Reserve owned and administered by the Kāpiti Coast District Council. The public notification of this proposed lease is made pursuant to Section 119 of the Reserves Act 1977.
