About the role

We have a great permanent full-time opportunity for someone with administration experience & strong interpersonal skills to join our Operations team, based at our Paraparaumu Depot. 

The role is the first point of contact for staff & visitors to the Depot & has primary responsibility for allocating & monitoring service requests; co-ordinating the purchase of goods & monitoring purchase orders on behalf of the Operations team.

This role is pivotal in supporting other members of the Administration team across all administrative & financial functions & therefore the willingness & capability to learn new systems and processes as well as a high level of computer literacy is essential.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using common office software, such as Microsoft Office suite
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and priorities
  • Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Administrator is preferred
