Districtwide Facility Hire Remission Grants
The purpose of the Districtwide Facility Hire Remission Grant is to provide financial assistance for groups or individuals wishing to use Council-owned facilities (such as halls or aquatic facilities) for community events. The programme is to assist where the event is benefitting the District as a whole, rather than an individual community.
Applicants must reside in the Kāpiti Coast District and grants are generally not considered retrospectively (applications must be received by the Kāpiti Coast District Council prior to the event taking place).
The maximum grant payable is $1,000 per grant.
A total of $2,991 has been allocated in the 2020/21 financial year, and applications for funding are now open.
To submit your application:
- Read the criteria on the application form to find out if your activity or event meets the fund’s requirements

Applications for funding close at 5pm on Friday 21 August 2020.

Successful applicants will also be required to provide an accountability report within six months of receipt of the grant, providing evidence that the money was spent for the purpose it was granted.
